How It Works
Repair or Replace? The Honest Maths
As a rule of thumb: if a repair quote exceeds 60–70% of the replacement cost, replacement usually wins — especially because our parallel-import pricing puts a new genuine drive well below Australian distributor list pricing. For obsolete or end-of-life drives, repair (or a sourced unit) is often the only option — and hard-to-source drives are exactly what we do. Ask us to check availability before you commit to an expensive repair on an obsolete unit.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a VSD repair take?
Typically one to two weeks from assessment approval, depending on the fault and parts. If your line is down, tell us — we can quote a replacement from stock alongside the repair so you can compare downtime as well as dollars.
Do you repair drives that are out of production?
Yes — obsolete and end-of-life drives are a specialty, and where repair is not viable we can often source genuine replacement units through our global supply network.
Is the repair work certified?
All repairs are performed by fully trade-certified technicians with the relevant electrical licences, and load-tested before return.
Can you repair a drive from outside Brisbane?
Yes. Freight the unit to us from anywhere in Australia — contact us first and we will arrange the details.
