The Allen-Bradley 1734-VHSC5 (catalogue 1734-VHSC5) is a very high-speed counter for Point I/O accepting 5V DC (TTL-level) inputs at up to 1 MHz. Designed for interfacing with TTL-output incremental encoders and high-speed pulse inputs in motion and positioning applications. Supports quadrature and pulse counting modes with position and velocity outputs to the Logix controller. Available from InstroDirect as a genuine parallel import at below-list pricing.
