The Allen-Bradley 1734-ADN DeviceNet Adapter (catalogue 1734-ADN) connects Point I/O modules to a DeviceNet network operating at 125, 250, or 500 kbit/s. It functions as a DeviceNet slave device and supports up to 63 1734 I/O modules per station via the POINT I/O backplane. Commonly used in legacy machine upgrades where DeviceNet infrastructure is already installed.
