Automatic Water Quality Sampler — 24-Bottle Refrigerated
The InstroDirect IDOA-SAMP Automatic Water Quality Sampler is an automatic water quality sampler designed for compliance sampling at WWTPs, stormwater outfalls, and industrial discharge points. 24 PE bottles sit in a refrigerated carousel (2–10 °C) and the programmable controller draws composite or discrete samples on time-based, flow-proportional, or event-triggered schedules.

Why Choose InstroDirect for Online Water Analyzers
- 24-bottle refrigerated carousel suits a full 24-hour composite cycle
- Flow-proportional mode integrates with any 4–20 mA flow meter
- Event trigger can be wired to a turbidity or conductivity alarm from another InstroDirect probe
- RS485 Modbus output logs all sampling events to SCADA
- GSM remote alarm notifies service teams when bottles are full or refrigeration fails
Installation, Commissioning & Service
Install at the discharge point with intake hose weighted in the flow stream. Connect 240 VAC and a 4–20 mA flow signal. Program sampling schedule via touchscreen. InstroDirect offers on-site commissioning including first-run validation, bottle labelling workflow setup, and operator training.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this NATA-compatible for regulatory sampling?
The sampler itself is a compliant sampling platform. Chain-of-custody and sample integrity depend on your laboratory procedures. Ask about our NATA-compatible SOP template.
What reagents or consumables does it need?
Standard consumables: replacement intake hose (12 months), peristaltic pump tubing (6–12 months), and PE sample bottles. All stocked in Brisbane.
Can I trigger sampling from a PLC?
Yes. Dry contact input accepts any PLC trigger. RS485 Modbus also accepts remote sampling commands.
