Product details
M12 Digital PEEK-Body Conductivity Sensor — Aggressive Chemical Service
The InstroDirect IDC-M12-PEEK M12 Digital PEEK Conductivity Sensor for Aggressive Chemicals is a high-temperature, chemical-resistant two-electrode conductivity probe with a PEEK (polyetheretherketone) body and 316 stainless M12 connector head. PEEK’s exceptional chemical resistance makes this the right choice for strong acids, bases, solvents, pharma process water, and semiconductor ultra-pure water where standard plastics fail within weeks.

Typical Australian Applications
- Strong acid / caustic chemical dosing
- Pharma WFI and purified water loops
- Semiconductor ultra-pure water (EC <1 µS/cm resolution)
- Solvent-based chemical process
- Nuclear and hazardous waste process monitoring
Why Integrators Choose the IDC-M12-PEEK
- PEEK handles concentrated sulphuric, nitric, and caustic at elevated temperature
- Platinum electrodes resist polarisation and chemical attack in oxidising media
- FFKM (Kalrez / Chemraz-grade) O-rings survive solvents that destroy FKM and EPDM
- 130 °C rating covers CIP / SIP and hot acid / caustic service
- M12 head keeps connector dry above aggressive process fluid
Installation & Calibration Notes
Install through a 3/4″ NPT PEEK-lined fitting to maintain chemical compatibility at the joint. For ultra-pure water service, rinse with WFI before first use. Calibration standards: 1413 µS/cm or lower for ultra-pure; 12.88 mS/cm for general process.
Frequently Asked Questions
What chemicals is PEEK NOT compatible with?
Concentrated sulphuric acid (>80%), fuming nitric acid, and some halogenated hydrocarbons at high temperature. For these, contact us for a Hastelloy or Tantalum electrode custom build.
Is this suitable for pharma WFI?
Yes — PEEK and platinum are FDA/USP Class VI compatible. 3A certification available on request.
Can it measure ultra-pure water?
Yes. For EC readings below 1 µS/cm, configure the sensor in high-resolution mode (Modbus register 0x1010).
