- Brewery wort and cleaning solution monitoring
- Pharma WFI / purified water loops
- Soft-drink bottling line sanitiser control
- Cheese and yoghurt fermentation
Why Integrators Choose the IDC-2W-SAN
- 316L 0.5 Ra polished finish meets 3A sanitary standards
- Handles full CIP caustic (NaOH) and acid (HNO3 / phosphoric) cycles
- SIP-rated to 135 °C steam sanitisation
- Tri-clamp mount makes swap-out a 30-second job
- Wide 0–200 mS/cm range covers both pure water and caustic phases on the same probe
Installation & Calibration Notes
Install vertically in the CIP return line or horizontally with the electrodes fully flooded. Use EPDM O-rings for caustic-heavy CIP, FKM for acid-heavy or steam. Calibrate with KCl standards monthly during production runs; validate after every SIP cycle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this 3A compliant?
Yes — 316L with 0.5 Ra polish. The full 3A certification documentation ships with every order on request.
What tri-clamp size should I order?
Most AU dairy and brewery CIP lines use 1.5″ or 2″. Specify your line size at order; we stock both ready for next-day dispatch.
Does it handle caustic and acid CIP?
Yes. 316L polish with EPDM O-rings handles 2–5% NaOH and nitric / phosphoric acids at 80 °C. For stronger chemistries, ask about the PEEK-body alternative.
