Installation & Calibration Notes

Install through a 3/4″ NPT boss with electrodes fully submerged. For high-fouling service, inspect and wipe the cage clean monthly. Recalibrate with 111.8 mS/cm KCl standard at the top of the range every 1–3 months.

Will this work in plating baths?

Yes for most chloride, sulphate, and phosphate baths. For chrome or cyanide baths, confirm chemistry with us before ordering.

How do I clean the electrodes?

Soak in 1:10 dilute HCl for 5 minutes to remove scaling; rinse with DI water. For organic fouling, use a neutral detergent soak and soft brush.

What cell constant suits different ranges?

K=0.6 covers 0–2000 mS/cm accurately. For lower ranges (<20 mS/cm) choose a 2-electrode K=1.0 probe for better low-end resolution.
