Typical Australian Applications

  • Multi-parameter online water quality monitoring station (pH + DO + conductivity + turbidity + chlorine)
  • Drinking water treatment plant central monitoring station
  • WWTP aeration basin with multiple sensors
  • Pharma / food & beverage utility water compliance panel
  • Aquaculture farm central RAS monitoring
  • Environmental surveillance station (river, catchment)

Frequently Asked Questions

Which IDWQ-3000 variant should I specify?

IDWQ-3000 if you have 1 digital sensor. IDWQ-3000T if you have 2 (typical pH + DO or pH + chlorine pairing). IDWQ-3000F if you have 3–4 sensors (full multi-parameter station). Specify the variant at order.

Can this replace an Endress+Hauser Liquiline CM44R or HACH SC1000?

Functionally yes for multi-parameter display and 4–20 mA / Modbus output. Key difference: sensor protocol. Liquiline CM44R requires E+H Memosens sensors. HACH SC1000 requires HACH SC digital sensors. IDWQ-3000 accepts any InstroDirect Modbus RTU sensor and any other vendor’s Modbus-capable sensor.

How many parameters can the IDWQ-3000F display simultaneously?

Up to 16 parameters across the 4 digital sensor channels. Each digital sensor typically reports 2–4 parameters (e.g. a pH sensor returns pH + temperature; a multi-parameter DO sensor returns DO + % saturation + temperature).

Australian Technical Support & Commissioning

  • Brisbane-based technical support from field engineers with 20+ years automation experience across Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric.
  • On-site commissioning & configuration across QLD, NSW, VIC — sensor wiring, Modbus register mapping, SCADA integration, alarm threshold setup.
  • Remote support via phone / email for WA, SA, TAS, NT.

Why InstroDirect vs Endress+Hauser Liquiline or HACH SC in Australia

The Endress+Hauser Liquiline CM14/CM442/CM44R and HACH SC100/SC200/SC1000 transmitter families are the default Tier-1 choices for Australian water utilities — but they lock you to proprietary digital protocols (Memosens / SC digital) and the vendor’s full sensor ecosystem. InstroDirect controllers accept both InstroDirect open-Modbus digital sensors AND standard analog mV / 4–20 mA inputs, giving you protocol freedom and typically 30–50% lower landed cost.
